Zara's POV The Delta house was already loud when Bri and I got there. We heard the music from half a block away — bass heavy and relentless, rattling through the cold night air like it had something to prove. Light spilled from every window of the three-story house, yellow and warm against the dark, and there were people on the porch, people on the steps, people leaning out of upstairs windows yelling down to friends on the lawn.
