Joker had gone to the hospital to pick up Lexi and Hunter he’d already acquired a car seat to go in his five seater black Astra. He’d strapped Hunter in whilst Lexi had slid onto the front seat. She’d put all of the bags on the boot before getting into the car closing the door. He closed the back door of the car waking around and opening his door sliding in he closed the door outing his keys in the ignition, he turned the key starting ten engine reviving it as he slid his belt on. He pulled the car out of the car park. He squeezed her leg. ‘I’ve booked some time off work so you can settle in and get used to a routine.’
‘How considerate.’
He moved his hand changing the gears. ‘I know you’re not completely happy with this.’
‘Damn right.’
‘Your angry why?’
‘We need to set some rules.’
‘Sure I guess this was coming. So what are they?’
‘No whores in the flat of you’re going to f**k someone do it anywhere but where our baby is.’
‘Agreed all I ask for you to do the same.’
‘Fine but I’m not going anywhere soon.’
‘Anything else.’
‘How’s the going to work Joker? you have no interest in me.’
‘We take turns with everything that involves Hunter, like I said I want to be a part of his life and if this is what it takes so be it.’
‘You could’ve easily seen him without all of this.’
‘And where would the fun be in that?!

‘Sure whatever.’ He smiled changing the gears again breaking at the lights. ‘I hope you like the flat it’s fully finished.’
‘Why did you do all of this what if this doesn’t last.’
‘I’m going to make sure it does Lex. I’ve lacked responsibility most of my life. I’m making sure I don’t lack in this one.’
‘You could’ve just seen him and paid parental responsibility.’
‘I already told you I want to do the right thing for Hunter.’
‘What about the right thing for me ? I could’ve done this alone and you could’ve seen him.’
‘Absolutely not. You’d be still at Amilia’s or with Kile not happening.’
‘Fine.’ She huffed slipping back into the chair as he tuned the corner. He pulled up infront of the four storey block. ‘
‘We’re here.’’
She smiled taking her seat belt off. He slipped his off getting out of the car. She took her belonging off him as he closed the boot taking Hunter out of the car closing the door. They walked up to the foster he used his code key to get in.
‘I have your keys but for now you are to stay in rest and I’ll help you take care of Hunter for the six weeks then I’ll give you your keys.’
She smiled briefly they walked into the block turning right and he opened the door. ‘Drop your bags here and I’ll give you the tour while Hunter is sleeping.’
‘Sure.’ She dropped her bags he took hunter through cot the bedroom she looked around it was quiet spacious with a kingsize bed, a full length wardrobe across the back wall, blinds on the window and a wooden floor. ‘This is our room the smaller one is fir hunter once he is old enough to go in. ‘Come on.’
He showed her the second bedroom almost identical to the last bit smaller. He showed her the bathroom it was bigger than what she had expected, they went into the living diner it was huge. ‘You sure this is a flat.’
‘Apartment.’
‘Posh word for a large flat.’
‘I guess, so you like it?’
‘Yeah.’
He smiled and got minter out of the bedroom they went into the living room he place the car seat in the wooden floor it was like this all through out the apartment. She smiled. ‘I’ll do is a drink everything is set up and ready for hunter of he needs a bottle. ‘ he looked at her. ‘Coffee?’
She smiled.
He went into the kitchen to make them both a coffee. He returned placing them down sitting next to her.
She looked at him.’ Thanks for all of this.’
‘It my pleasure.’ He said resting his arm over the back of the sofa.’ They drank their coffees she yawned. ‘Tired.’
‘A little.’
He tapped his lap. ‘Lye down.’
‘Are you sure.’
‘Positive you look exhausted.’
‘I am a little.’
‘’Lye down I’ll wake you if anything.’
She smiled lying across him. This is a side if him she’d never saw til today he curled hair in his fingers his finger going down her face, her eyes slowly closed.
