Chapter 6 Month 2 and 3 on the Run

723 Words
As February came in I got into a rhythm. If I needed to do anything like wash clothes or take a showed I would go into town during the early morning hours. I always made sure no one was around and I always went to a different place. On Valentine's Day Sarah called me. I was glad to hear from her. I have to admit I was getting a bit lonely.      She told me she was still being followed. And she is pretty sure the guy who has been hitting on her for the past week is the same guy I saw at Walmart last month. She did tell me that my sexy stranger has come to the beach a few more times but since I wasn't there he left rather quickly. She also told me he left something with her and if I can get to town either early in the morning or late in the evening I might want to check my mail. She told me that both Steven and my mother showed up at the beach again to see if she knew where I was. And since the last move I made she has no idea where I am at so she didn't lie to them. Then she had to go.      The rest of the day was very hard for me. I was so excited about checking my mail I could not sit still at all. Finally I decided to go for a walk. Since I have been through this area so many times I had no problem guiding myself through the camp ground. As I was walking I noticed a bush. As I got closer to check it out I heard a couple of guys talking, I waited quietly for them to pass but when I heard my name I knew I had to get out of there quickly. When they passed by me I ran back to the van and got out of there as fast as I could without being seen. From there I went to another camp ground my father took me to. This one didn't have any water near by so I decided not to stay. Instead I went to a trailer park camp ground and stayed as far away from people as possible. I was parked in the far back corner surrounded by trees. No one else was around me since most people though it was still to cold to camp. Then I sat down to wait for night fall.       I was excited and couldn't wait for it to get dark so I could go check my mail. It was a good thing I chose a place with a twenty-four hour lobby when I set up my p.o. box. Later that night I drove back to Crescent City and went to my post office box. The first thing I saw when I opened the door was an envelope that said to my life guard. I grabbed it and the rest of the mail and got the hell out of there.       Back at the camp site I opened the envelope, it was a card from my sexy stranger. I was so happy to get a valentine from someone. When I opened the card it said, for my life guard I miss you. Would you be my valentine? I was so happy I just wish I had some way of talking to him. That card kept a smile on my face for the next month. This place was the best set up I have found so far. There was a shower and a bathroom on site as well as a laundry mat. there was even a small store right there as well. I was so happy everything I needed was right there on the property.      I managed to stay here until April third. on the morning of April third to men showed up at the office asking questions about me and the girl who was in there paying her rent gave me a heads up so I could get out of there before they left the office.      After leaving that place I decided to try something different. I was tired of living off the land so I decided to go to a motel. I went to Arcata and checked into a motel for the next month.
