I must be insane for making such a rash decision. But I loved Dominic, and that’s why I chose to leave.
After hearing the side of the story from Austin, it seems like I only put Dominic and myself in danger by staying here. Austin just appeared to be here at the right moment, and he’s the only person who can help me to get out.
“What did you just say?” Austin asked me in disbelief, then turned around to face me. I grabbed both of his hands, and he looked down at our joined hands. “Take me out of here, Austin. Please, you’re the only one who could help me.” I pleaded at him.
His eyes were full of doubt. “You said you love him? Why leave?” he asked me back. I looked away before he could see the tears fall down on my cheek.
“That’s exactly why I had to leave,” I replied
