Fallon POV
It’s been a month since I got engaged to Austin. He had been nothing but good to me, but the strange thing is, he’s still like a complete stranger to me. I don’t feel connected with him. It was weird because, according to him, I said ‘yes’ when he proposed. Maybe I was out of my mind, or could it be it was because we never had s*x?
“Fallon, are you still there?” Austin asked, waving his hand in front of my face to snap me out from my train of thoughts. I looked up from my plate then smiled awkwardly at him.
“Uh-yes…I’m sorry. What are you saying again?” I asked him. “I’m asking about the final gown fitting for today. What time should we be there because I had to schedule my meeting?” he repeated for me. Austin always being patient with me. Sometimes I felt bad for him.
