I couldn’t take off my eyes from the small mirror in my hands as I couldn’t recognize the woman inside the mirror. Her face was totally different from mine, but Austin was right. I looked beautiful.
I had to admit. The doctor did quite an impressive job at reconstructing my face. I LOVED the result.
“Is this really me?” I asked, more towards myself. Austin lowered my hand and turned my face towards him. “Yes, this is the new you.” He told me. My eyes started to get flooded with tears as my heart swelled with so much happiness. I can’t be more grateful to have him around.
