Austin didn’t kiss me back as our lips met. I am the one who broke the kiss first because we both weren’t feeling it at all. I looked outside the window, and Dominic’s car was already gone. I blew out a relieved breath after that.
“You kissed me on purpose, didn’t you?” Austin asked accusingly. It never occurred to me that he would be mad. “Austin, I—“ I said, grabbing his hand. I had no idea how to explain this to him.
