Dawn's point of view
Before he began to speak a bunch of emotions flooded his eyes, mostly which I decided was pain and anger, I could see what he wanted to tell me was going to be hard for him as he immediately closed up becoming distant, a way of him detaching himself from the pain that he was beginning to feel. Whatever he wanted to say, he wanted to let it out without showing emotion especially weakness and I really didn't understand why? He was recalling some memories, some memories which made his hands go into fists and his nose flare subtly. I waited in silence waiting for him to speak up.
