Chapter13 - A gift

Alyssa's POV

Everything turned black.

The only thing I remembered was walking out on the exit of the club and then I collapsed. Now I woke up in a white room with an IV hooked in my hand and a monitor on my bed side. I can't seem to understand how I ended up here. I tried to sit that's when I saw someone in next to me. A familiar face.

It's David.

I can't believe my eyes, I have to look again He was sleeping beside me, i touched his arms and mine checking if I was dreaming. But it is really him. He woke up and looked at me. I wanted to melt in his arms. OHH MY.

" Hi, Ahmmnnn how did I end up here? What happened?" asked Alyssa

" I saw you collapse so I brought you in for the doctors to check up on you" David replied

The doctor suddenly knocked and entered the room.

"Congratulations to you Ms. you are pregnant! I shall leave you both to talk about it " the doctor announced.

Alyssa cannot believe what she heard neither is David.

"That was my first with you" Alyssa said

" You mean, I am the father?" David asked.

" There's no other" Alyssa replied

David was shocked. He have not even thought about the fact that he did not use protection that night. Now he is going to be a father. He doesn't know how he will tell his family let alone his mother.

Alyssa on the other hand was also confused she thought that she will bag the model career. She thought that she will be able to help her mom and support them. All her thoughts boils down to the fact that she won't be planning anything anytime soon.

David was so happy having his baby. He hugged Alyssa. He wanted to feel her and wants to make her feel that she is not alone in this.

Alyssa let David hug her she needed it. She did not want to ask questions She felt his warmth and for now that is enough. She knows she can't obliged him since they both did it on their free will.
