Chapter 8 - Struggles

It's been 2 weeks after the incident. Alyssa haven't gotten over what happened for her it was un acceptable her first time drinking and partying turned out to be a disaster. She was thinking who is David and how did she agree to be in bed with him. The thought just goes in her mind like a replay. She needed to focus it's her last few days at school and she needed to finish all her requirements so she can graduate. All these things made her distracted and lessen the thought about that night.
Alyssa met up with Maricon at the Coffee Shop their usual hang out after school.
" Girl, I have some crispy news!" Maricon burst
" What is it now?" Alyssa replied
" There's this fashion show Alex was talking about and they are looking for part time models im sure you are a fit" Maricon added
"Ok, where will i go to audition" Alyssa was interested she needed the money badly for the graduation expenses
Alyssa went to the address Maricon gave and she was amazed with the roster of models waiting for their turn to audition.
She felt a little out of place because they were professionals and this is just her first time joining this kind of modelling she just works a few gigs but this event seemed so Grand. It's the Annual Fashion show of one of the leading clothing brand in the country and abroad. Alex being close to Maricon recommended Alyssa to join in the modeling audition.
She was examining her looks in the mirror she doesn't want to fail this audition she really need this one. Maricon said they pay good salary for this gig.
David's POV
The usual grind for the day.
The clothing brand he owns is scheduled to have its grand event soon and they need to make sure everything is going to be perfect. I am hands -on these things i don't want to just rely on my people so i usually visit the venue and check how the preparations are doing.
Part of the highlights of the show will include ramp models. Since this is the most sought after event of the year most famous models from all over the country and overseas come to audition.
I was in the venue at the audition when I saw a familiar face among the models doing the audition. It was the girl. What is she doing here. I called my assistant Brian.
" Hi Brian can you please do something for me" David said
" Yes boss?" Brian
" Please check that lady in the waiting line, Verify her identity and all the information that you might get from her." David demanded
"Ok boss, will do!" Brian followed.
