The rogues closed in on her, their eyes bleeding with pure hunger and an amused smirk playing on their lips. Raven's body trembled, her mind racing and pleading for anything —anyone that could save her from these devourers.
"Stop," she choked out, her voice trembling but laced with determination. "I'm Alpha kane's woman."
The leader paused mid-step, eyes narrowing at her words. "Is that supposed to mean anything?" He scoffed.
But Raven didn't shiver. She stood firm, willing to summon whatever little courage she had left. "He values me," she said, her voice clearer now. "I belong to him, and he doesn't like to share. If you touch me, he will come for you. He'll destroy every last one of you—rogues."
