Raven's POV
My gaze landed on the man that stood by the doorway. Professor Vaughan. Even hotter than I remember.
His eyes locked on mine, his face was unreadable but equally unfriendly. I felt heat rose from my skin, shame clawing down at me. My body still flushed from kane's kiss, and the humiliation of the situation settled on me.
Professor Vaughan had picked me up that night when I collapsed from Kane's rejection. I have not seen him since then or even tried to thank him, but yet I am, with that same man. It's unheard of. He must have been confused about what is going on, especially with kane's hand still on his belt.
