JAKE
“Ride faster b***h!” I s*****d the w***e on the ass who quickly picked up her pace.
“Good…Keep it that way.” I moaned in pleasure.
“Boss! There's been a problem!” Enzo Ferro, my right hand man, called from the door.
“f**k! Enzo. Don't be a p***y and handle it! ” I barked as I reached c****x.
“I'm sorry boss but this is about the Corsinis.”
“f**k!. Get off me.” I pushed the w***e off my body and spat out. Curse Corsini.
I grabbed a robe and stormed through the door and headed to my study.
“Matteo get her paid and sent out. Enzo come with me.” Matteo one of my boys quickly left.
“You better give me good trouble Enzo.”
“A part of the estate you just purchased was burnt down.”
“Burnt what?!”
“Yes. Sources say it was Corsini's boys. Before the fire fighters could put out the fire, a large part of the estate was destroyed.” Enzo explained and handed me his ipad to show the pictures of the scene.
“Damn Corsini.” I scrolled through the pad with more anger surging in me on every scroll I took.
“I didn't want war with them but they left me no choice. I will burn down their empire. They don't have any idea of what they've just messed with.”
“What will you have me do?” Enzo asked as his face lit up with excitement to kill.
“Gather as much information as you can about the party they're hosting next week and all who will be attending. We will be paying them a visit. Only this visit will be with bullets.”
“I'll get to it right away. I was almost forgetting. Alessandro Rossetti’s wingman called earlier to confirm if the meeting still holds.”
“Yes. We leave in 40 minutes.”
“I will inform the boys.”Enzo replied and left in haste.
I sat on the chair by the big desk and went through some files Enzo had dropped earlier for me about Alessandro Rossetti. He didn't go to college, but he sure knew his job well as my PA compiling and arranging data and information pretty well, and also a ghost when it came down to hunting people down to death. The perfect combo.
From the file before me, I knew for a fact that Alessandro lacked nothing. He had acquired fame, wealth and power for himself and nobody would want to be on his blacklist. He was also often called “Ice cold” due to his cold heart and sealed conscience. I secretly admired him for that. But what I didn't seem to understand is why my father wants me to marry a Rossetti. That man hated the Rossettis as much as I hated the Corsinis so why on earth would he want me getting married to them? We also had fame, wealth and power, so why the f**k?
What's more funny is that my father Vescari Giordano is f*****g dead!. Leaving me with no answer but some stupid will to get married to Alessandro's daughter else Enzo would be the head of the family's business. Like who the f**k is Enzo in all of this. Why him?. I happened to be the only son with two sisters who are hopefully, happily married to their politician husbands.
“f**k you Vescari.”
Painfully, regardless of the fact I've loved being single and free, I've got to go get myself a Rossetti princess to remain the head of the Giordano. Hopefully she's not some boring prick.
I dropped all the files and moved to get dressed for the meeting with Alessandro.
We drove into his large compound with a big white mansion and too many flowers for my liking and saw Alessandro Rossetti waiting to welcome us with a woman standing beside him, which I presumed was his wife.
“Welcome to my home.”Alessandro smiled and reached out for an handshake.
“Thanks for having me. Your wife looks gorgeous.” I hated complimenting, but still I had to give it to her. It wasn't going to take a thing from me.
“Thank you.” She smiled and ushered us in.
The house was warm with lots of aesthetics and painting for someone of his caliber. I guess this is what comes with having women in your house. Such sentimental creatures.
“Wine or strong wine?” Donatella asked, walking towards the mini bar they had in.
“As you would address me.” I replied, helping myself to a couch.
“Then it is a strong wine.” She smirked.
“Mr. Jake Giordano. I have heard and seen a lot about your achievements especially since your father Vescari passed away. But I would like to hear them first hand from you.”
“Mr. Alessandro. Real men don't go about talking about their achievements, it's the other way round.”
“I see. Not much of a talker or just feigning humility?.” Alessandro added by taking a glass of wine from the two places down by his wife.
“I wouldn't call myself a humble person neither am I much of a talker. I prefer communication by action. Talking is trash.”
“I didn't come here to exchange pleasantries and formalities. I'm here to talk about marriage . Anything other than that can wait. We are both busy men.” I sipped my wine without taking my eyes off him.
“Jake Giordano. Sometimes even in business we need patience.”
“I would like to see her now.” I demanded that I put down my glass.
“Yes you will see Viviana soon but I need to iron some things out. As much as I'm giving her hand in marriage to you, you don't dare to lay a finger on her. I do that. Anything aside, that is none of my business.”
“You still beat her? What is she? Twelve? Beautiful.” I scoffed in amusement.
“You will watch your tongue young man.”
“Viviana is here.” Donatella raised her voice to reduce the tension that was building between her husband and I.
This wedding was going to be a disaster but fun because I would get to make Alessandro regret giving out his daughter to me.
There she was, Viviana Rossetti. I have to admit she looked way more beautiful in person than the pictures I saw and they were all selfies. But seeing her in full made my cells charge. She had a slim waist with thick thighs that happens to be a thing I looked out for in a lady.
“Are you Jake Giordano?” Viviana asked.
“Yes.”
“Good. I was wondering when you would be man enough to come get this marriage thing started.” She frowned with eyes on her father.
“Are you that desperate to get out of your father's beatings?” I laughed
“f**k you.”
