Tom Alan put Selena back in. He started singing along to “Come and Get It” once more, just in time, as Bill’s lady friend threw her arms up in silhouette, flipped her long hair, and a string of curse words no music could completely drown out flew from her mouth.
Tom Alan yanked out the earbuds.
“Oh f**k, Billy!” the girl said.
“What?” Milo asked Tom Alan.

“s**t, baby, s**t!” The totty…Bill’s lover, got some back from him, accompanied by a resonant whap on some part of her anatomy, and an “Oh yeah. You like that, baby, huh?”
“Oh yes, Billy! Yes!”
