Chapter 17

Veronica's POV.

When I woke up, Katie was already in the shower. I looked around and smiled when I realized that the kids were all still asleep. I got up and grabbed an outfit and my bikini then snuck into the shower behind Katie. I wrapped my arms around her an kissed her shoulder.

"Good morning princess." I said.

"Morning cutie." Katie replied, turning around and kissing me.

"What's the plan today?" I asked.

"Well, we can bring the kids to the ocean or we could go shopping first." Katie said.

"You really want to go shopping? With the kids? where there are toys?" I asked.

"Why not? You have money on you, right?" She asked.

"Well, yeah." I said.

"Ok. How about we go out to breakfast then go to the ocean until dinner? We can pack a lunch." She said.

"Ok. Lets finish up because the boys are going to wake up any minute now." I smiled.

We finished our shower and got dressed then walked out to see Ana looking at Kayden.......... Who was wide awake and looking right back at her.

"How long have you two been awake?" I asked.

"Me no know." Ana said.

"Did he wake you up?" I asked.

"No." She replied.

"Are you hungry?" I asked.

"Yum yum?!" Ana looked at me.

"Yeah. You gotta get dressed so we can go get yum yums." I said.

"Otay. Me dress?" She asked.

"Mommy will get you dressed. I gotta get Kayden ready." I said.

"Kay." She replied.

I smiled and changed Kayden and got him dressed while Katie got Ana ready. Then Jayden woke up, so I got him ready too. When the kids were ready, we grabbed the diaper bag and our wallets then we walked out the door. When we got into the elevator, there was another couple in it. They smiled at us until they seen us holding hands.

"What are you two doing?" The woman asked.

"What?" Katie asked her.

"What your doing is wrong." the man said.

"What are we doing?" I asked.

"Being gay is a sin. And bringing those kids up around that is even worse than you two being together. Why not put them out of their misery and just put them up for adoption?" The man said.

"Why don't you just shut the hell up and mind your own f*****g business. Our kids are just fine. They're happy, they are fed three meals a day, they can eat whenever they want, they are spoiled, and they are well behaved. The are way better than your kids could ever be. So shut the HELL up. Mind your own DAMN business. And go f**k yourselves." I said.

"Veronica. Easy." Katie whispered.

"No. f**k THEM." I said.

"Mama. It otay. I wuv you Mama." Ana said.

"I love you to Ana-rocket." I said.

The elevator doors opened up and we walked out. We went and found a nice place for breakfast and ordered food. When the good got here, Ana made me cut up her waffles and then stole some of my bacon. That little brat. After breakfast we went to down to the beach. I laid out the blanket while Katie held the twins and walked towards the water with Ana. I out the blanket close the water so that we could watch and make sure no one tried to touch our stuff. Then I ran down to the water and jumped in. I wasn't stupid. The faster you jump into the water, the faster you warm up.

Katie and Ana were slowly walking into the water so I grabbed Ana and brought her out deeper into the water. Then I put her in up to her neck and she squealed with laughter.

"That better?" I asked.

"Yeah mama." She smiled. I brought her back to the shallow part and took the twins from Katie. She dove head first underwater then swam back towards us. She took Jayden and walked around on her knees with Ana. I sat down in the water with Kayden and made sure he was in the water. He giggled and splashed the water around. Then he looked around for Jayden.

"Aye!" He yelled.

"Aye!" Jayden yelled back.

Kayden looked over at his brother and smiled, "ooooo. Ahh."

Jayden then tried to get closer to Kayden. Katie and Ana came back towards us and we let the twins splash each other. They giggled and squealed. The people that passed us were all cooing over them. Ana just smiled her proud sister smile and played with the boys.

"Mommy. Why were dem eple mean to oo n momma?" Ana asked Katie.

"Because their jealous that mommy and mama love each other and they don't love each other as much as mama and I do." Katie said.

"So dem mean?" She asked.

"Yeah." Katie said.

"Stupid eple." Ana muttered. "I wuv you too!"

"I love you too my little rocket." Katie said.

I smiled and looked back at the twins. Jayden had his hands in front of his face and Kayden was splashing water at him. They were both laughing so I knew Kayden wasn't just being a mean little brother. I looked over at Ana, who was swimming towards Katie.

"Hey! You can swim Ana-rocket!" I said.

"Watch mama!" She yelled.

"I am. You're really good baby girl!" I told her.

She swam towards Katie but she wasn't paying attention to her. I looked over to see what she was looking at and was confused when I realized it was another woman. Why was she looking at her?

"What's up?" I asked her.

"That's my ex." Katie said, looking towards me.

"So?" I asked.

"The one who keeps calling me." She said.

"So?" I asked.

"So. I think she's stalking me. I mean, before we came here she showed up at the house and now she's here too." Katie said.

"She showed up at the house?" I asked.

This was new.

"Yeah. I told you didn't I?" She asked.

"Uh. No. You didn't. The hell?" I asked.

"I thought I did. I'm sorry. Anyways, she showed up at the house and asked me to take her back. I told her no and that I was happy with the love if my life and she said that she wouldn't give up on me." Katie said.

"I'll cut a bitch." I said.

"Stop. Lets just enjoy our vacation. If she gives us trouble then you can do something about it. Okay?" She said.

"I guess." I sighed.

We stayed at the beach for a while. After that we went to get food then went back to the hotel. We got in the elevator and can you guess who was in it? If you guessed Katie's ex..... you were right. Nice job. I rolled my eyes and walked to the far side of the elevator.

"Katie! Nice seeing you here." The b***h said.

"That's nice. Why are you here?" Katie asked.

"Vacation. You?" She asked.

"Same. With my-" The b***h cut her off.

"How's your mother? I miss her so much!" b***h said.

"She's just fine. What do you want Brit?" Katie asked.

"You know what I want Katie.... I want you." Brit said.

"Yeah. That's not happening."

I didn't say it. You know that 1 year old that you all love so much? Yeah that was her.

I looked at Ana, "Hey!"

"What?" Ana asked.

"Attitude young lady." I said.

"Ana you don't talk to adults like that." Katie said.

"Alt?" Ana asked, "Who?"

I'm sorry. I bursted out laughing.

"Cute. Who's this?" b***h- Brit asked.

"That's Ana," Katie said. "My daughter."

"b***h she's mine." I smiled.

"You wish." Katie grinned.

"And who's she?" Brit asked with attitude.

"That's Veronica. I'm taking her last name soon." Katie said.

"What?" Brit asked.

"She's my fiancé." Katie explained.

"What?" She asked.

"We're getting married you dumb bitch." I said.

What? Don't look at me like that. I was only helping Katie.

"No. You're not. Katie is mine." Brit said.

"Look. I get that you 2 had something, but its over. Katie and I love each other. We have 3 kids. We love our kids. So stop being so f*****g delusional and comprehend that Katie doesn't love you you stupid asshole." I said.

"Stay the f**k out of my business." She said.

"Katie's my fiancé. She is my business." I said.

"Go f**k yourself." Brit said.

"Is it just me or is this the longest elevator ride ever?" Katie asked.

"It's pretty." Ana said.

I looked over and laughed, "Ana! You're not supposed to hit all the buttons!"

"Why?" Ana asked.

"That's not what their for." I said.

"What for den?" She asked.

"You only hit them to get to the floor your room is on." I said.

"Whi one?" she asked.

"5." I said.

"Is one?" She asked.

"Yep. Good job."

"Ooops. Sorry." Ana said.

"It's okay." Katie said.

We finally got to our floor and got off. I was about to tell Brit to have fun on the elevator but she got off behind us. Are you f*****g kidding me? She's staying on this floor too?

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"This is my floor." She replied.

"What room?" I asked.

"5J." She said.

Are you kidding me? Seriously?

"What rooms yours?" She asked.

"5K." Ana said.

"Really?" Brit asked.

"Really oopid." Ana said.

"Anastasia Elizabeth. Watch your mouth." Katie said.

"Kay." Ana said.

We finally walked into our room and I slammed the door shut on Brit. We laid down the twins, who had been asleep the whole time and got Ana changed and ready for bed. I changed fast and then went to put a movie in while Katie got changed. We laid down with Ana and watched 'Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs' which was one of Ana's favorite movies.

I know. Ana was advanced for her age. But when you have a teacher for a mother your bound to know some stuff. Katie teaches them young. But then again, she was advanced for her age too. So maybe it's just in her blood. I looked down at my baby girl and smiled at she laughed at something in the movie. She was too cute.

Ana fell asleep halfway through the movie so I turned to look at Katie. She was in deep thought so I took a minute to just look at her. She's f*****g beautiful. I'm so happy I can call her mine. I'd do anything to make her happy. She looked over at me and smiled as she mouthed 'what'.

"Nothing. You're just extremely beautiful that's all." I smiled.

"Aweee. Thanks cutie. So I was thinking." Katie said.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Can we just buy a vacation house out here instead of paying thousands of dollars to rent a hotel room for a week? The others could use it too as long as they cleaned up before they left." Katie said.

"That's actually a really good idea. I'll look into it and see what I can find. I know we'll want it close to the beach and it has to have at least one play room. Maybe a room for you to work too. Incase we come during the school year. Like when you have vacations." I said.

"Exactly. I just thought it would be nice." Katie said.

"It is. I'll start looking into it when we get back home. I go on tour in two weeks though." I said.

"You do? When?" Katie asked.

"Monday." I replied, "You and the kids are coming with me. Remember?" I asked.

"Oh yeah. Okay. Where are you going first?" She asked.

"I can't remember to be honest. I think it's California or Colorado." I said.

"Colorado?" Katie asked.

"I think. Why?" I asked.

"My cousin lives in Colorado." She said.

"Really? Maybe we can visit her." I said.

"Really?!? Ana will just love her little boy. He's 2." Katie said.

"Yeah I know. Jackson. She posts a picture of him on i********: every 5 minutes." I said.

Seriously. Katie's cousin is always posting pictures of her som Jackson. She says that she's gonna be famous so Jackson will be a famous baby. Little does she know that Ana, Jayden, and Kayden are already famous babies. She doesn't keep up with news about stars so she wouldn't know. Katie's cousin whose name I forgot which is why I haven't said her name yet, wants to be a singer to. But she can't sing to save her life.

"What's her name again?" I asked.

"Roxanne." Katie said.

"Riiiiight." I said.

"If you have her on i********:, how do you not know her name?" Katie asked.

"Because I only she her username. And ladieslovemybutt is not a name." I said.

"I thought she changed it." She asked.

"Uh nope. She had a picture of Jackson up today. It's still the same." I said.

"Ugh. Roxanne. She needs to f*****g grow up and take care of her f*****g son." She said.

"Well then." I said.

"Sorry. But she does." Katie said.

"I know baby." I yawned.

"Go to sleep. We can talk more in the morning. I love you princess." Katie said.

"Okay. Good night I love you too." I said.

Right after saying that, I fell asleep. It was the perfect end to a perfect day.
