Chapter 5 Our way in

Boom boom boom boom. The music hit off the walls of the bar as the people came in and out laughing. There was a small line to get in but once you got your wristband you could go in and out freely. Serenity made her way to the front of the line holding on close to her mates hand. "what the hell does she think she's doing" one girl said from the crowd, another girl looked over "who does she think she is?" another snob blows out of her mouth. Oh I'll show you who I am, she thought as she started to wave at the Bouncer noticing who was working the front door tonight "Bear! How's the wife hunny?!" the bouncer looked over at Serenity and a huge smile came across his face as he raised his arms and waved, another member of the underworld. He wasn't a wolf but when his wife and him needed an extra set of powerful hands hunting down a skin changer killing humans, Serenity was right there to sniff it out. In the underworld killing humans risked exposure.

  Jorden AKA Bear and his wife Beverly were Hunters. Hunters were used by the underworld counsel to hunt down demons, and human killers. Jordan was a tall coco brown man. Serenity always thought he should be a famous football player, he always told her story about his high school and college days. Always saying he could have made it big, she could see that. he had soft brown eyes and the hug of a bear. He was a bear though both Beverly and Serenity called him Bear. Beverly was just as tall as her husband. though her skin was even darker like a black coffee she had brown beautiful dreads that Serenity always wanted to try but never thought she had the face for it. When they came across Serenity they had no idea she was a werewolf until a girls night out. Beverly was out with her girls having a wonderful night out. when her girls went to the bathroom and left her alone at the bar. Two guys came up to Beverly. one distracted her while the other slipped something into her drink, then caused her to drink it by saying "hey celebrate!" Beverley wasn't feeling it but she took her drink. Soon though her girls came back showing off the guys.

Serenity watched from across the room. It made her sick to think they were even thinking of taking advantage of such a beautiful woman, she looked like she could be a model. with her wolf ears she listened to the conversation, watched them slip the pill in, then watched the other girls come back. It wasn't long before the woman was stumbling her way to the bathroom, the scrub bags in the back watching her like a hawk, when they made their move, she made her move. she watched as they took the woman, who was now tripping over herself, to the backdoor. Where are these women's friends? why are they letting her do anything alone clearly she was not able to. The thoughts in serenity's head made her bowl as she watched the two men try to take the woman out the back door. That's when she got a whiff of them, like a real whiff. Wendigos those bastards. She raised to the door hoping she would make it in time. Sure enough, opening the back door to the bar the two wendigos were trying to have their way with an almost past out woman. Serenity let out a deep growl and they snapped their necks to look at her. There fangs already dawn, at the same time trying to get the woman naked and mount her. f*****g animals. "Will be right with you little girl." the one holding most of her body dropped as he said this to her, the other looked up from from behind her said "she's the appetizer, you're the maaain corrrrse wooolf" they knew, but she didn't care, they weren't going to make it out alive.

"She's doing good Angel, how have you been?" Bear asked bring Serenity back to the real world "Is this the Husband the wife and i keep hearing about?" He winked and nudged Serenity in a playful way. The husband was a mate so humans didn't look at us funny. 

"yes! this is my Husband Sean!" she said as she pushed Sean forward toward Bear. Sean put out his hand, "it's an honor to meet you Sir. Serenity tells me you are like her Father." Bear let out a deep laugh, grabbing him by the hand and bringing him in for one of his famous hugs squeezing onto him tight. "get in here man, you family!" five seconds and done, yup always trying to kill someone with his arms of death Serenity thought to herself. "I know my baby girl can be flattering" He pulled in Sean and whispered in his ear "we all know she is older, with that being said, don't break my baby's heart, you heard her I'm her Father and i got lots of shot guns." he pulled Sean away and let out another deep laugh "Megan! Get my baby girl here a VIP band and a AYCD band! Same for her Husband" Bear yelled at the girl behind the desk to get in. Bear went over to the velvet rope lifting it up for them. Serenity looked over to the loud mouth girls in the crowd and sent out a smug look. to think, and all without using her powers. she giggled to herself. there was no need to use them here though, this was her domain "Have fun Baby, you need anything you let me know!" Serenity waved back "OK tell momma I said hi and I love her!"

"so that was your way in uh?" Sean laughed as he wrapped an arm around onto his beloved shoulders tight. "No, not really, I had no clue Bear was working tonight," She said, throwing him a smile that could even light the dark hall there where she was walking down.
