REIGN'S POV
The bullet hits Landon.
My beta, my best friend, my brother in everything but blood, he takes the bullet meant for me and goes down hard.
"Landon!" I roar, catching him before he hits the ground.
Blood. So much f*****g blood.
"I'm okay," he gasps, but he's not. The bullet hit him in the chest, too close to his heart. "Get... Sonya..."
Derek's standing there looking shocked, like he didn't actually mean to shoot anyone. Like this whole betrayal thing just got real for him.
