SONYA'S POV
Reign drives us to the edge of his property, down a dirt road I didn't know existed, until we reach a clearing with the most beautiful lake I've ever seen.
The water is crystal clear, reflecting the morning sun like liquid glass. Trees surround it on all sides, creating a private sanctuary that feels completely separate from the rest of the world.
"Oh s**t," I breathe. "This is on your property?"
"Yes. It's a private lake. Only a few of my pack members know about it." Reign climbs out of the car, and I follow. "I used to come here as a kid when I needed to escape my father's expectations. Still do, sometimes."
I wasn't expecting this. Wasn't expecting Reign to share something this personal and vulnerable.
"It's beautiful. I'd love to swim here."
"Come on." He heads down
