Paul Ferris, as was normal when he was intent on his work, barely looked up or made a sound as he busily typed away at the laptop"s keyboard, until he suddenly stood up and exclaimed, “Bingo!”
The two women both looked round in surprise at Ferris"s exclamation.
“You"ve found something, Paul?” Church enquired.
“I should say so,” he replied. “This could be just what we"re looking for. Take a look, Fenella.”
Church rose from her seat and in a second she was stood beside Ferris, looking down on the laptop screen. Without showing too much in the way of emotion, she clasped his shoulder, and said, “Well done, Paul.”
Turning to face Tara Able, she asked, “Would it be okay if we took your husband"s laptop with us back to Liverpool? We"ll give you a receipt for it of course, and return it when
