“What do you think, Scarlet?”
I sat there, absorbing the gravity of Logan's words. The prospect of stepping into the role of CEO at the Taylor company felt almost like a dream. How could this be happening? Why would Logan make such a monumental move for me? I never anticipated he would take such a significant step for my future, and yet here I was, struggling to comprehend it all.
“Scarlet?” His voice pulled me from my reverie, and I looked up to meet his gaze.
“I can’t believe you did this, Logan,” I exhaled, a mix of disbelief and concern in my tone. “You know my father will never accept this.”
