“Run away! Run!”
I don’t know what happened, but the person that appeared in front of me wasn’t shooting at me. He seemed to be running away in panic as if something was chasing him. Looking at his reaction, it would be stupid of me to just stand still or try to be brave and find out what is happening behind him.
I immediately put my gun away and ran after the person that just went past me. I didn’t even dare to look back as I heard the sound of a gunshot from behind. However, I realized that the gunshot wasn’t aimed at me, and the person in front of me, but it was towards the back.
Not long after, the sound of the gunshot actually subsided as the person in front of me stopped running. That is because we soon reach the edge of the island that has shrink and there’s no other way to run.
