The moment the five minutes started, the man beside me immediately looked at me. He didn’t run off first since I knew he would take the opposite direction from me. Because of that, there is no point for me to wait for him. I immediately looked around and made a quick decision on where to run.
Since the island has shrunk so much, it was only one or two kilometers in radius now. Not to mention that what’s left is the central area which is the mixture of plains, jungle, cliffs, and mountains; there are some places that are viable to hide in.
The jungle where I just come from is one option, but it was too obvious of choice. Not to mention that Garcia is looking at us right now. No matter which direction we run to, we will be discovered easily.
That is why I immediately come up with a plan.
