Six Words that Broke me

Ulyssa’s Pov

The words of Kael kept playing over and over in my head, like a song that was stuck on repeat.

“Your writing is always done in a black ink. It's adorable."

Over the course of the subsequent two weeks, during almost every free time, we were together. In addition to walking to class together, we shared earphones in the cafeteria, sat under the large almond tree that was located behind the lecture hall during breaks, and walked to class together even though our routes were completely different.

I was without a body.

This felt like my first real taste of what every other girl my age had already experienced, and it came after I had been locked away for eighteen years.

This was the end.

I had been waiting for a boyfriend for a very long time.

My destiny was to become someone's girlfriend.

Later on, when his message arrived that evening, my heart was on the verge of breaking.

When I read the messages i screamed, i immediately ran into the common room, where the girls were lying on the sofas.

As Talia sat up, her gum came dangerously close to falling out of her mouth.

"I can't believe it, this is it!"

Aria smiled dreamily as she hugged a pillow and cradled it to her chest.

"When you get back, don't forget to update us on every single detail," Lila said.

I became even more anxious as a result of their excitement.

There were three different outfits that I tried on before I finally decided to go with a simple white top and my favorite jeans. Even the strawberry lip gloss that Talia gave me was applied with a dab.

At 7:30 o'clock in the evening, I was sitting on the edge of the fountain, patiently waiting for him while my heart was beating so loudly that I was certain he could hear it from a mile away.

He made a clumsy motion by rubbing the back of his neck.

"I am in desperate need of your assistance with something."

My chest took a leap.

I was under the impression that he wanted me to assist in the planning of our first date or something.

With a grin on my face, I replied, "with what," whatever it is i’m down, anything at all.

He drew in a long, deep breath.

"I've been following your group for some time now, and I truly believe that Gemma is the one I'm falling in love with. When I say seriously. The thought of her keeps popping into my head, Ulyssa i really can’t stop thinking about Gemma. It was my hope that you could speak to her on my behalf, is it possible for you to put me in her good books or something i mean… you get what i mean..

Immediately i went silent, i was patiently waiting for him to laugh and tell me that he was joking as i stared at him with my mouth slightly open.

All of a sudden, I clocked back to reality, I stood up so quickly that I almost fell, and I walked away without uttering a single word.

I had the sensation that someone had made a hole in the middle of my chest at that very moment.

As soon as I returned to the dormitory, the girls were waiting for me as if it were Christmas morning.

Talia practically shoved herself in my direction and asked, "So?" "What happened to it?!"

Despite the fact that my eyes were already hurting, I managed to muster the most significant smile I could muster without tearing up.

I lied and said, "It went really well," while my voice did a little bit of shaking. We even had our first kiss with each other.

After that, there was a lot of screaming and hugging, and it made me want to completely vanish.

Yes, she is a pretty woman. we are all aware of that, what’s so special about her ? guys are always after her.

I am also a very pretty lady, maybe not as pretty as Gemma, but i still am.

The question is why her? why not me??

After turning over, I clung to my blanket with all my might.
