Olivia's Pov

I yawned widely as my eyes opened. My body was still aching as if I had been dragged on a rough rock. My gown was completely ripped now, and my skin had scars from the branches and rocks I had tripped on.

In quick realization, I sat up, my heart beating fast. "Where am I?"

The room was extremely large, strange yet somehow luxurious. It was warm, and the blankets were soft. I clenched on to it, not wanting to let go. Till I realized—

He was sitting on the sofa cross-legged. He had been staring at me this whole time as if golden eyes were screaming my name. I almost had a shock. "You—"

He walked towards me and my heart started beating faster. What was his desire for me exactly? He was unpredictable yet authoritative. I felt the grip of his hands on the bed as he leaned in and then whispered in my ear, "You fainted. Our bond hit you harder than most people I've witnessed."

I felt his breath against my ear lobe. It felt warm and tempting. Still clenching on to the blanket, I started shaking. "So you mean I spent the whole night here in your room?" He let out a little smirk as he rubbed my hand, "Don't imagine the worst." Nothing happened. You are safer here than anywhere else."

I swallowed hard. Could I really trust him? What happened last night? Though I couldn't deny how my heart raced when he looked at me again and again. That strict gaze, it reminded me of the previous night, the multiple times he had claimed me.

"I don't belong here," I shook my head in denial. "Though I feel the undeniable fire between us, the whole situation is ironic." I let out a little laugh, "I mean like I don't even know who you are."

He leaned forward, the tips of our heads were now touching. I could feel his breath and now much stronger than ever. "You'll soon find out everything. The moon chose you. And tonight? The council will decide if you get to stay or leave."

Before I could answer, the door burst open. A slender, yet tall and beautiful lady stormed in. Hot as hell with the most gorgeous curves I've ever seen. She immediately turned to me with much fury in her eyes. She rolled her eyes at me as if she was looking at something disgusting. "Look at you huh already climbing onto him? You couldn't even have the bare minimum of what we call manners. You're already here on business, right?" She snapped her fingers.

She turned to the guy. "This is worse than immoral Kael! You couldn't even wait...her blood ass body on your bed?!" I saw him roll his eyes in boredom. Seems like he wasn't even taking whatever she was saying seriously.

"Will you relax yourself, Selene? Nothing happened! Due to our strong bond, she fainted, and I brought her here and took care of her till she was fine."

Selene spat on the floor with disgust. "Oh how I wished she eventually died. She's absolutely no little human mistake!" Was that supposed to be a whisper? She needs better skills then! I heard everything. "My name is Diana," I alerted her. "Diana, huh? You do indeed like one beautiful name, my love." The guy looked at me with absolute admiration after hearing the sound of my name. And Selene..?

She was dying of intense jealousy. I could just read it in her eyes. She approached me instantly with much anger. She grabbed my blanket furiously with her devilish eyes falling on my ripped dress. She let out an evil laugh. "The chosen Luna, huh? " She immediately looked at what he called himself Kael. I was just getting used. "Just looked at her dress? Ripped and dirty like eww! As if it couldn't get worse, you just bring shame upon us keeping this human thing!"

She spat directly on me. This fool! Did she think I was not capable of handling her? Till his voice commanded with anger, "Enough!" Selene only continued smirking with defiance. He called for his boys. "Get this piece of trash out of my sight!" he ordered. Selene instantly shook on the spot. "Me? The only chosen Beta's daughter, is what you are calling trash?!" she screamed. "Kael careful what you are opting for because," one of the boys tried to argue. Kael gave him a serious look. "Are you challenging my commands? Am I not the Alpha of this pack? And what does her being the Beta's daughter have to do with me? I'll only repeat myself once and, if you wish to disobey, find your position lost in the pack!"

With immediate action, they did as they were told. Selene was fighting, almost resisting, but they handled her well.

They all accompanied her outside and Kael was still yelling at Selene for the drama she had caused and the audacity of disrespecting me by spitting on me! Yes i***t, she deserved it! I stayed alone inside the room.

At that moment, my father's words came back to me like a flash. They clung to me like shackles. "This is what we've chosen for you, Diana. Stop the rebellion, you will marry him!"

The memory left a scar that would now be almost impossible to cure. I wanted freedom, I wanted revenge. But the new stranger. He wasn't the man my family would choose or be proud of. He was dangerous, only gave respect to those who truly deserved it. He was unpredictable yet safe at the same time. That alone made him so perfect for me.

"If they want me to be in prison, I'll choose my own cell, I said under my breath.

Only to turn around and boom! He was standing right there. My heart almost fell out. How much did he hear?! "Missed me?" he called out. He fixed his gaze steady on me. Then he approached me slowly with a package. "For You," he placed it in my hands. I look at him in shock. I opened it slowly and just...wow!

Never knew Alpha boy could be so romantic. It was a midnight blue luxurious dress, and it looked as if it reflected the light from the stars. "This is so beautiful, I love it!" I clung on to it, holding it as if it was my greatest treasure. "But why would you get me this? It's just so-" He immediately placed his finger on my lips. "Cause, why not? Are you not my Luna and am I not your Alpha?"

What?!!! It now clicked, Alpha, Luna???

His eyes lit up. "The moon chose you. Wear it with pride and ignore whatever Selene says she tries too hard, but she's rejected terribly!" I burst out laughing. I couldn't hold it in. This man knew what he really wanted. "Just stating the facts...love," he sighed. "The moon sees you. You are my chosen Luna. Wear it tonight at our ceremony." I nodded in excitement. Blushing non-stop.

Now this will be my final revenge in total completion. And when does the clock hit? I'll be his only treasure and nobody will dare get in the way of separating us!
