Alley's Bad Luck

Alley's POV

    Damian had asked what do we do now that we changed clothes. We sat and were talking to each other when Dani said *Mr. Billy said girls are playing volleyball and boys are playing football.* *I don't like volleyball. I can never understand what people are saying* I told Dani. *I know you don't but there is nothing you can do about it* She replied. I turned to look at Damian and that's when the pain hit me. No this is not supposed to happen till tonight because the time of my birth was at 8:30 at night. The change was going way too fast no one even had time to call the nurse before I was in my wolf form. What I didn't notice during my change was that the gym teacher had everyone move away from me but when I completed the change it forced everyone else in the room to change as well. I have never seen that happen before not even when I was visiting another pack when the son of the Alpha shifted. I shook out my fur and then I heard my wolf talk for the first time. -Hello my name is Kara and our mate is close by.- Wait what? Mate? I take a look around and notice that the only people that didn't shift when I did were the people who were too young to shift yet. I walked over to the gym door and realized I couldn't open the door on my own. I froze when I smelled roses and a bonfire -mate- I turned to follow the smell when I saw Damian open the gym doors that let out to the fields and past them the forest. We locked eyes and that's when I knew we were mates. I walked outside and took off to the woods. When I got to the edge of the woods I stopped and looked behind me to see if Damian followed me out here and was sad to see that he did not. My wolf whined but we took off into the woods anyway. It felt so good to run like this it felt like I was free to do anything I wanted to do. I wanted to continue to run for a little while longer but Kara wanted to find Damian again. So I turned around to head back to the school but had no idea which way to go because I had run so far from the school. -Let me take over because I can find the way back to mate.- Kara said so I sat back and let her get us back to the school. When we got to the edge of the woods by the school I noticed that the clothes that I wore to school were on the ground by a big tree. -I wonder who put those there for me- I said to Kara. -Mate did can't you smell mate on the clothes- Kara replied and when I smelled the clothes I did. -Wait how is I can hear you talk but no one else?- I asked her. -I'm in your head not outside of it like everyone else is but when you open the mindlink you can hear everyone talking that way.- Kara said. I had never thought about it like that even though I should have seeing as I have always been told it's my ears that don't work not my brain. I grabbed my clothes then walked behind the tree to shift back but I ran into a little problem. How do I shift back? I lay down on the forest floor when I notice a piece of paper by my paws I looked at it and it said to shift back focus on your human body. Okay easy enough right... NOT. I've tried six times already this is the seventh but I really focused on how I look in my human form starting with my toes to my feet, up my long thin white legs. Then I thought about my thin waist up to my boobs which I wish were bigger and finally my face. I had a cute nose, full lips that were naturally a pink color, and my eyes that were never just one color. My long red hair that never wanted to work right on rainy days. When I finished that last thought I could feel a slight pain and looked down at my hands. I did it, I shifted back into my human form. I walk up to the school building and my phone vibrates in my pocket so I take it out and see that school has been over for about two hours. I unlock my phone and see that I have 12 missed calls and about 20 text messages from everyone that has my number. So that is about six people but what concerned me was that I am late picking up my sister. So as I walk to the student parking lot I start opening the messages and see that my parents were told about what happened and that my sister was picked up by Dani. How did I not realize that I was gone for three hours? My parents just wanted to know if I was okay and I can understand that, but what confused me the most is the unknown number that tried to call me a few times. I noticed that I had a message from the unknown number as well that reads (Hey, it's Damian. I just wanted to let you know that Dani gave me your number and that I am sitting by your car when you get done. Ps, can you give me a ride home?) I really hope he has my bag because if he doesn't then we will be walking home and that's a long walk home. When I finally get to the student parking lot I could see my car but I didn't see Damian. Maybe he got a ride home but I was proven wrong when I walk around the car to see him sleeping on the ground with his head on both of our bookbags. -Mate. That's our mate. wake him up I want to see his eyes and hear him talk.- Kara said in a rush when we saw him on the ground. I lean down to shake his shoulder and he jumped up growling but when he saw it was just me he began to apologize. *I'm sorry I didn't mean to do that to you also I didn't mean to fall asleep* I try to calm him down -he should not be apologizing to us we are mates- Kara said in my head. *Hey don't worry about it I'm fine. Why are you still here school ended like 2 hours ago?* I asked once he calmed down. *I didn't trust leaving your bag here with your car and I also wanted to spend time with you after you were able to get to know your wolf for a little while.* -He gave us time to get to know each other that is so sweet- Kara said. -Do you ever shut up? I really want to know if this is what I'm going to have to put up for the rest of my life!- I asked her and I could see her in my head nodding in agreement. Damian looked at me and smiled *thank you for giving me that time and looking out for me. I really don't know why I shifted so early today.* I looked at him and could tell he was fighting with his wolf. *Should we go I'm sure my parents are wondering where I am and I know my sister is probably mad at me.* I say nervously not knowing what else to say. I go to reach for my bag when I feel the sparks on my arm. So I look at Damian and he pushes me up against my car, leans in close to me with his nose touching my neck. Before I know what I'm doing I run my fingers through his hair and pull his lips to mine.
