Elara's mind was spinning as she stared at the silver-haired woman. A choice. She had a choice to make. The woman's words echoed in her mind: "You have a destiny... involves the Whispering Woods and the Moonstone pack."
Thane's eyes were still narrowed, his face tense with effort as he tried to break free from the woman's spell. Elara could see the strain in his muscles, the desperation in his gaze.
"Elara, don't," he managed to grit out, his voice strained.
The woman's smile was calm, knowing. "It's her decision, Thane. Let her choose."
Elara took a deep breath, trying to clear her head. Part of her wanted to stay with Thane, with the pack, with the life she'd built. But another part was curious, was desperate to know the truth about her past.
"I'll go with you," Elara said, her voice firm.
The woman nodded, a small smile playing on her lips. "Very well. Come with me, Elara. The truth awaits."
Thane's face was a mask of anguish as Elara turned to follow the woman. For a moment, their eyes locked, and Elara saw the pain, the fear, the love in his gaze.
"Thane, I..." she began, but the woman's voice cut her off.
"We must go, Elara. Now."
Elara hesitated, then turned to follow the woman into the unknown.
As they disappeared into the trees, Thane was left standing alone, the weight of Elara's decision settling heavy on his heart.
