“Are you sure? I mean, could you stay a little longer?” Susan sat back down, unable to argue with such a simple request. “Sure. I’ll stay as long as you like.” The muffled sound of music suddenly filled the room. Susan gave a chagrined smile and rummaged through her purse for her phone, checking the caller ID. “Damn.
