The newspaper reported on the back page that the Greek Government defended the abolition of the monarchy six years ago. They appear to be denying the king a return to power. The king said a monarchy was more realistic than a military dictatorship. I think I agree with him, although I know next to nothing about their politics. I met a woman this year who is married and lives with her husband in Bemus Point. They are both from Greece. Cyprus, to be exact. I shall ask for her opinion when I next see her. She was in my English class with Dr. Leibrandt. She’s one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever met, and I was in love with her until I found out she was married. That sort of dimmed the fire.
