I worked hard today, all day. Seven to six-thirty. I worked twenty-three and a half hours overtime this week. Except for today, all of my reading was at home. I earned an extra seventy-seven dollars. After I wrote my analysis on The Water Is Wide, I read an article about a girl who rode a bicycle around the circumference of the United States by herself. She had thirty-four flat tires and took seven months. She wasn’t a girl. She was twenty-four, so I should say woman. The Water Is WideI would like to go to New York City and throw a baseball, then pick it up from wherever it stopped, and throw it again. I want to throw a baseball across the country. Just throw the ball, pick it up, and throw it again, and just keep going until I am in San Francisco where I would throw it off the Goldengate
