I’m home for lunch: a peanut butter sandwich and a large glass of milk. Oreo cookies. Pringles. I’m on the porch watching a sailboat zip by. The wind is brisk under the blue skies. There are a few big clouds and the air is clean, like when you stick your head in the freezer and suck in air through your teeth. Back from work: I feel swallowed up in the house, but I’m not sure why, except that I’m anxious to see Annie and I have ninety minutes before going to her place, so I’m typing.
