Work was quiet today. I mainly filled out reports from what I read on Monday and Tuesday. Roy invited me for dinner again sometime, which I accepted. Mike came over to watch TV tonight. He brought some apples. I’ve eaten so many, I’m about appled out. We played baseball pinball. It was the best of twenty-one games. I bought a case of Genesee Cream Ale on the way home from work from Newhouse’s on Clifton Avenue. By the time we’d finished the marathon World Series, I’d drunk eight beers. Mike had three. Yet, I still won. We both wrote down our starting lineups. At first, we had decided to be the National and the American Leagues against each other, but then both of us wanted other players on our team.
