Kole and Edric were long gone into the woods headed to find out where Hild was at that very moment. Aciah landed firmly on her four strong beastly legs and sprinted towards Thyra. She weaved and leaped over trees and branches with her adrenaline pumping through every vein in her body. She came up to Thyra's cabin in the woods and bursted through the door.
We have to go now. It's Hild and my father behind this nonsense! They have been conspiring since my birth and we are going to break them both. Aciah out of breath bent over placing her hands on her knees slowing her breaths one at a time.
Thyra didn't even think twice about getting out of the door she grabbed everything she needed from her cabin and tossed it into a thick backpack and lunged out the door before Aciah could finish catching her breath.
Thyra jumped on aciah's back since her wolf was faster than her motorcycle and held on for dear life. Aciah wasn't always fast or strong but as a Luna her power was combined with her mates which made them tex times stronger even with out being hybrids. Thyra chanted over aciahs apeed and she became fasted. Then she said spells about her strength and became stronger. Thyra was turning Aciah into a war machine with magic.
They soon caught up to Edric and Kole before they knew it. Aciah was impressed as both of them looked towards one another with determined looks on their faces.
Thyra took out a map, knife, and a crystal from her bag. With out knowing what she was doing Aciah handed her an open palm and instinctively told her take what she needs. She had no idea how she knew what to do but it came all too natural. She suppressed her magic long enough it was time to let her beasts and magic co-exist.
Thyra dug into the palm of Aciah's hand and made an incision long enough that she could draw blood from. She closed Aciah's hand into a fist and it poured her essence on to the crystal. Thyra unfolded the map rapidly that had geological points of the whole world and on the side a list of every city.
The crystal took several moments turning and swaying then pulled to a city right outside of York,England called Castleford. Thyra looked up uneasy at Euric and Kole.
Aciah looked closely at the map and realized that was a vacation safe house that was heavily protected by magic and wolves. It was one of the most dangerous places they ever owned growing up and her mother always told her stories about the battles there they conquered. That was the first place Hild was ever turned and became hybrid.
Immediately Aciah knew what she had to do. They ran back to her mother following aciah closely and demanded every soldier to take the battle to Hild. As kole prepared his men for war Aciah and her mate went to the nursery where Mizzy was with their child.
Face to face with her mother again Aciah stood firm and tall. "I do not teust you or anyone else for that matter but one hair gets harmed on my child's head while I'm gone and I'll personally send you to an afterlife you wouldn't like" Aciah growled at her mother in a murdering tone. She raised her top lip showing all her teeth ready to bare into her skin with out remorse.
Holding her neck out submissively Mizzy nodded her head with tears poring our her eyes. She tightened her hold on the baby and pleaded for aciah to see she had no idea what was going on. She fought so hard to protect her daughter for years and this outcome still caused her to loose her only child.
Aciah stormed away with anger and pain in her heart. Mizzy caught Edric by the wrist as he went to follow his mate. Please son make her see I'm not the enemy. I love you'll and I would never hurt my grand child. She pleased with everything that she had In her.
Edric felt pity for her but didn't dare cross his mate, his beautiful Luna. she's come so far from the fragile girl she was. His wolf started to warm at the thoughts of her and he had to quickly subside the feelings for their own safety.
As he left to find his Luna he couldn't help but think what if she was telling the truth and she had no part in this. He walked next to his luna's side on the balcony of their castle. She looked so majestic and had such a strong leadership.
Aciah looked out to her kingdom and yelled at the soldiers to take shift. As soon as she said the words howls followed shortly afterwards. Every single wolf shifted and she ordered them come forward one by one. Tomorrow morning at first light they would set out to embark on their journey.
One by one as they came forward she and Edric marked their warriors turning each of them who were strong enough to handle the fevers into Hybrids. fifty men and women were marked selectively to be hybrid and the rest were given magical powers by Thyra of strength, stealth, and speed. This war will be won at all costs Aciah told her mate. They took the night caring for the ones who were turning hybrid and making battle plans. By first light one hundred hybrids were made but only ninty two of them survived the fever. The odds were still in their favor as they set their gear up ready to be magically teleported to their destination.
An hour before they left Aciah, Euric, Kole and Thyra made a blood oath and powerful spell to protect the heir of the thrown. All power proceeds and titles goes to their child in the case of their demise. At last they gave the child a name and wrote it in their blood Octavia Devine, Heir to the thrown of Adelaide and Euric, protected by all the kingdom. Their blood was dried moments later and the secret of her name was kept in the vault until their return. Only one person had access to that vault and it was their child. At the news of their demise only the child could open the vault with her magic and blood. This would crown her and give her protection without Aciah's mother being in the picture to have a foot hold in their kingdom.
The time was now to start their journey and Thyra began to chant channeling the magic from Aciah and Euric to transport them. From there they would be on their own with the little magical skills Aciah learned to get by. Thyra kept behind to care and watch over the children of the kingdom especially their heiress. Awaiting the words of battle she kept vigilant and on guard at all times barely able to sleep. she knew in her heart they would succeed this battle even if she had to force black magic to help them.
