From Princess to Queen

737 Words
Princess it's time for your ceremony please walk with me so I may escort you to the ballroom, a butler recommended. The Princess walked with the man dressed in a black suite down the hall. She gracefully turned to the stairwell and her heart started to race with no avail. The butler placed a beautiful crown on her head and smiled with admiration and glee. The princess walked down the spiral stairs to the ballroom with confidence. The room was silent so that the harp would be her only introduction. The people turned to her and bowed as she walked down the isle ready to accept her new crown septer and now her name. She turned to the people from the alter with her crown and septor as she held a still face her mother announced her name. All hail the new queen they announced and the crowded room repeated. Queen Aciah Janelle Stroudsburg of Emerald Moon pack, the king and queen announced prideful. Everyone bowed their heads and began to show respect to their new queen. Music began to play as the Queen aciah sat on her throne for the first time. One at a time her people began to to bring her gifts. They wished her well and blessed her long reign. Many men tried to pursue her for her power and beauty. It was then she knew that she would never marry. The moon goddess herself couldn't force her into a marriage like her mother was. Aciah greeted her people one at a time and danced with a few gentlemen to show her respect. She bored easily with the dazzling dress, party, and ballroom fun. Aciah decided she would sneak off into the gardens before anyone would notice she left. It finally became peaceful and easier to breathe now that she was outside. Aciah was sitting alone on the ground for a few moments trying to get use to her name as she said it over and over again. A noise rustled near by that made her go silently into defensive mode. A wolf with glowing blue eyes was watching her as she was trying to get away from her own company. Strangely she didn't feel threatened by him but more curious. He growled when she tried to approach him then ran towards the think dark woods with out a trace left behind. Aciah went back inside to her party and tried to look like she was having a great time. Her mind raced in circles about the mysterious wolf. The lights began to flicker in the great hall and loose items went flying. Aciah never noticed but the former king and queen did. Aciah was still in a daydream thinking about the wolf from earlier when she was suddenly jerked back to reality. Magisty we must leave now there's dark magic here, her mother yelled. Both of the women went into the back of the throne to a cut out piece of wood in the floor with a make shift handle. They climbed down the stairs and closed the trap door behind them. All of this is unbelievable Aciah thought to herself. She went to ask her mother why all of this was happening right now and her mother explained it has nothing to do with someone wanting to take her down. She was the one who was causing all of it. Aciah didn't understand what her mother ment by that and it seemed impossible that she could do that when she didn't have magic. Mizrianna explained to her the truth about who she was and how they didn't know that she would end up with powers neither of her parents had. Aciah was hit with so much information she ended up passing out. Mizrianna carried her daughter through the damn dark tunnels into her panic room. It was made incase of emergencies and protected by magic. The select few people who knew about the room couldn't access it with out the blood of the current queen. Mizzy laid her daughter down onto a lounge and started lighting candles a small air vent was the only thing keeping them from suffocating in the small room. "The truth will be hard for Aciah to accept but this has to happen this way. to protect her," mizzy thought out loud. maybe one day she will forgive me for the world she was brought up in.
