Lucy's point of view
As I saw Alex, fear gripped me, and Suzy and Rebecca quickly stepped forward in my defense, pulling me behind them. Suzy smiled nervously, "She didn't mean to touch it," Suzy said to him. "She did not know it was yours," she added.
Alex took a step forward, and Rebecca quickly held him by the shoulders. "She is pregnant; you can see her growing tummy. Try to show mercy, for her baby at least," Rebecca added.
I just stood there, unable to say a word or speak up for myself. Rebecca and Suzy kept pleading, begging, and saying all types of things to make him see a reason not to hurt me.
