The following day, as we had agreed upon, I met Lucy at the familiar location and time. This time, she arrived accompanied only by the rogue who exuded an unmistakable aura of an Alpha.
"Alright, Leonard, let's get this over with. Are you prepared to accept the rejection?" Lucy inquired, impatience evident in her glittering eyes. I remained silent for a few moments.
"What are you waiting for?" Lucy pressed, the tone of her voice now tinged with anger.
After a brief pause, I finally spoke, "Don't you think there's something we didn't discuss last time?" I asked her.
