Link's POV
Two Amulets were laid out on a wooden table. Three people were sitting beside the table looking down at them.
"Okay, we have two Amulets so far. The green Amulet and the purple Amulet" I started the conversation saying. "And we now have to figure out where the next Amulet is" Alaan continued. "Yet we have no lead and nothing to show us where it is" Elvia finished frowning.
"That may not be entirely true Elvia," I say correcting her. "Yeah, yeah we have that sunlight trick my dad showed us" Alaan remembered.
"Wait what trick?" Elvia said looking confused. "King Arthur aka Alaan's father discovered a way to direct us to the other Amulets by means of reflecting the sunlight onto my Amulet at a specific angle and that in turn causes a charm to go off revealing the general area in which the following Amulet is residing at" I explained.
"Dude don't explain it like that, she's gonna fall asleep" Alaan said. "Huh? I explained it perfectly" I reply feeling somewhat insulted. "Haha, I think I got the gist of it," Elvia said with a chuckle.
"He did say it was pretty difficult to actually make it work" Alaan added. "He did, however, we should give it a try" I reply.
We moved out of the way. I grabbed the emerald Amulet and waited for the sunlight to shine. I shined the Amulet with the sun's rays but got no response. We each tried attempting it but to no avail. We kept trying for the next 5 minutes but nothing seemed to happen.
"This is useless. Nothing is working... How did my dad manage to do it on his first try?" Alaan said looking quite confused. "That's what I'm wondering too" I added. "What do you think Elvia?" I say looking towards her. She looked back but seemed like she was in thought.
"I was thinking about how we managed to find our Amulets in the first place" Elvia started speaking.
"Link, you said you found out the location of your Amulet from having dreams right?" Elvia continued. "Yeah that's right" I reply. "And I had certain visions that kept appearing throughout many days" She continued.
"So maybe the only way to find the next Amulet is for either one of us to start having dreams or visions?" she finished. I was quite puzzled at her reasoning and so was Alaan, but she was making quite a lot of sense.
We sat there in silence until Alaan broke it.
"Well Link, hurry up and get some shut-eye," Alaan said quickly.
"Umm. It doesn't quite work like that" I said. "Huh. Why not?" said Alaan.
I looked over to Elvia and then back at Alaan. "It is true I found this Amulet through dreams that I had. And I ended up finding it just like in my dream... But who found the next Amulet?" I asked.
Alaan realised what I said and looked towards Elvia. "Yup. It was me" she said.
"You see. I didn't have any dreams of the second Amulet because I wasn't supposed to. Elvia had visions which led her to the second Amulet just like me" I explain.
"Ohh. So what your saying is you or Elvia probably won't have dreams leading to the next Amulet" Alaan said looking quite deflated.
"If my theory is correct then it means there are others who will be led to the other Amulets, assuming there are more Amulets" I reply.
"Which means we're basically stuck then" Alaan frowned. "Pretty much. I don't really know where we should go from here" I say quite tired.
I and Alaan then turned to Elvia hoping she would take the lead.
"Looks like the Leader's out of ideas huh Link" Elvia chuckled. "Hey, I don't ever remember being appointed leader. You can take it, I'm lost" I said confused and tired. "Yup I've got no clue where to go now" Alaan added in.
"Hey, you two can't just put everything on me" she replied slightly agitated.
Just as she said that I felt a presence nearing close. We all felt it and got up straight away. It sounded like someone was running. What came out of the forest shocked us. It was a strange gangrel looking, creature.
"Uh guys, what's that thing??" Elvia said while looking horrified at the appearance of that creature. We were just as surprised.
The creature saw us and immediately lunged at us at top speed.
"I'll handle this freak!" Alaan said as he pulled out his sword and dashed towards the creature. Wasting little time, the creature attacked Alaan with a flurry of swift and powerful strikes. "Woah, this thing's quick," Alaan said as he increased his speed. The creature managed to sneak in a smack to Alaan's face. He started to get angry. "Alright, I was being nice but you crossed the line freak," he said with annoyance.
He struck the creature 3 times at its body and then sliced its head off. It tumbled to the ground dead while it leaked black fluid from its body all over the ground. "Wow, didn't expect that thing to be that fast" Alaan said wiping sweat off his forehead.
"And what was that!??" Alaan shouted.
"I've never seen anything like that. It looked unnatural..." Elvia said slowly.
There was some silence in the air until I started to speak.
"It that what King Arthur warned us about Alaan?," I said looking at him.
"He told us there were sightings of strange creatures roaming the lands" I added. "Well, I guess he was right. He never told us where they came from because that isn't normal" Alaan replied. "No, it isn't," I said.
"That creature wasn't even human... In all my years living in the forest, I've never come across anything like that" Elvia said slowly with some concern in her voice.
"Well, all I know is, that won't be the only one we will come across. I added.
"We should probably get moving more north. Hopefully, we'll find something" Alaan offered.
"Yh I agree, It would be wise to move now. In case someone finds this creature" I replied. "Well if your onboard, so am I" Elvia added.
We packed our things and headed out more northwards to the top part of the Forests.

Random POV
Many laid there dead on the floor. Bodies were scattered everywhere. Blood soiling the grass. I was struggling to get on my feet but before I could I got kicked strongly on my side which sent me back first on the ground. I struggled for air. I was coughing blood through my mouth because I was punched again and again.
"Why are you doing this..." I said weakly. The person covered in a black hood and clothing walked towards me. He grabbed me forcefully by my shirt so I was looking into his black coloured eyes. "You met him recently. Where is he?" the hooded archer said.
"What are you talking ab---" I stopped speaking as another fist went right to my gut. I coughed more blood.
"Link... That's his name" the hood said.
My eyes widened as he mentioned Link. "How does he know Link?" I said circulating in my brain.
The hooded archer got up and pulled out his bow and aimed it at me.
"Tell me where he is or you will be killed just like the rest of your camp" he raised his voice with ferocity.
"Link. Link. He said he was heading northwards to the top areas of the Forests. That's all I know" I said as I wept and fell to the ground once more struggling to move.
He didn't move for a few moments while he pointed his bow at me. He proceeded to lower his bow.
"You might live if you treat your wounds quickly. Consider this a gift" the hooded figure said as he walked in the opposite direction and then faded into the dark.
I layed there trying my hardest to get up. I needed to treat my wounds since I lost quite a lot of blood already.
"Link... I'm sorry... I don't know why he is interested in you but I hope you don't run into him. If he does come for you...I hope you're ready..." I say weakly.
