I hope you enjoyed this book!
Ever Your Affectionate is the prequel to my novel, The Portrait. Where Ever Your Affectionate is about Lydia, The Portrait is about Catherine.
Ever Your AffectionateThe PortraitEver Your AffectionateThe PortraitI love romantic stories, but I don’t love bad historical detail, and I don’t love stories where the female characters are wilting, fragile victims of their lives. When I couldn’t find stories that sounded brave and authentic (yet honestly vulnerable), I decided to write my own. I don’t know if I’ve met my own standards, but I’ll keep writing until I do.
You can grab a special ten-chapter giant chunk of The Portrait by going to mayarushingwalker.net/portraitsample, if you’re interested in more of Catherine’s story. Or get my contemporary novella Ghost
