My dear Miss Barrow,
I hope you are well. My journey was without complication, and I have returned to the home of my man of business here on Fenchurch Street. It is a busy neighborhood where activity starts early and ends late, but it is convenient to the warehouses and commercial suppliers I must visit.
I hope you do not feel pressured or inconvenienced by this letter. I do not mean to ask for your reply any earlier than you wish to give it. Please forgive me if I say that you have a fair countenance that no man would easily be able to forget.
