It was more than two months ago when we carried out the plan to escape Samantha from her near -marriage to what her parents had agreed upon with her.
After that scene, Sam's parents came back to the Philippines a few more times but my girlfriend did not show any fear to her father's threats. Yes, it is wrong to disobey the parent but if her happiness also depends on it, she have chosen to stood on her ground.
In the end, her parents did nothing but let Samantha live here in the Philippines but in one condition that she would not go home to Australian because she got disowned by her father. Even though it was painful for them to get to that point, we knew that eventually her parents would accept us as well. Soon, I hope.
