I parted my lips trying to imagine how I would lean in for a kiss. My lower lips quivered and I brought a finger to touch it. The mouth seemed to go dry and my lips felt parched. After what seemed like forever, Dominic spoke up. “I knew it. You're inexperienced.” “I'm not,” I lied once again. “I'm just nervous.” He rose up from the edge of the table. “Let's forget about the kissing.
