“Where are the cops?” asked Kiko as they went, worried, angry. With each step he wished more and more that Dom would decide they had gotten enough people out and could turn back. But if Dom wasn’t leaving, Kiko wouldn’t. Apart from the fact that he wouldn’t be able to make himself leave Dom’s side, he knew the man would have no way of knowing how to find the entrance again. “Slow,” said Dom. “It’s been at least ten minutes, hasn’t it?” “And we haven’t seen anyone since Clark,” said Kiko, peering at the map on his phone. “We’re about at the point where I’m not sure whether to send people back to the entrance or on to the exit.” “Deal with that when we find someone.” It was too quiet.
