The light in the study was on. Frederick sat at his desk, a laptop open before him, speaking on the phone with Harrison. They’d wrapped up their business conversation, and Harrison suggested taking a break before returning next month. When Frederick didn’t respond, Harrison called out hesitantly, “Hey, are you still listening?” Frederick had been distracted all evening. During their half-hour call, his mind had wandered several times. Assuming it was due to overwork, Harrison advised, “You should rest more, don’t push yourself so hard.
