Breathe in. Strike. Breathe out. Strike. Breathe in. Strike. Breathe out. Strike. Breathe in. Strike. Breathe out. "Ace!" She couldn't breathe. She couldn't feel the air passing through her lungs and she knew they were burning. She needed to breathe but with that, she also needed this. It has been so long since she had tested her limits. Running wasn't good enough, she needed tougher limits. She needed more. She was suddenly in an embrace, someone was holding her tightly from behind, knocking the little of air left in her out too. She could feel herself being dragged away and she could only think about how she couldn't breathe. God, she needed to breathe. She was burning, from the heat of the work out, sweat and the warmth in the basement. This place needed oxygen.
