Chapter 17 Ajax Aynen Wishing I could skip thing, God won't grant it for me. As I take a seat in the passenger's seat, Jared takes the driver's seat and looks at me thoughtfully. He is waiting for me to respond first, to say something before him. But my mouth won't work even though my brain keeps ordering it to speak. Lying to my best friend isn't my forte, but I am sure as hell on the verge of telling him a piece of my own fake world. I know this day, the telling the truth stuff, would come, but I thought I had more days to come, to prepare myself. Clearly not. I look at Jared. He resembles his father so much. But you can always tell that there are differences between them. When Jarrod's hair falls between his eyes, it reaches his eyebrows level whereas Jared's reaches his eyes level.
