CHAPTER 60 AMARA Two days later, I sat on a park bench, watching the sun dip below the horizon. The sky was painted in shades of orange and pink, and the clouds were streaked with gold. A light breeze rustled the leaves above me, carrying the scent of freshly cut grass and distant rain. I'd chosen this spot because it was quiet, it made your thoughts process go smoothly without any interruptions. And maybe because for the first time in years, I felt like I could finally breathe. It was weird really, finding that kind of peace with a stranger you met on a train. Speakjng of strangers… Caleb sat beside me, his arm draped across the back of the bench. He had his grey eyes fixed on the sky, staring as the clouds changed shapes. He didn't push me to talk or even bother asking questions
