“Oh my God! I'm– I'm so sorry. I didn't meant to–” she struggled for words to say, her gaze avoiding mine.
“Get out.”
Without saying another word, she fled, closing the door behind her. Beth stared at me with flushed cheeks, her lips still pretty much swollen from the kiss. But she had an amused expression on her face.
"You didn't have to shoo her away like that."
"She'll be fine. You don't have to worry about her." I zipped my pants before straightening my tie. "She won't say anything to anyone."
She adjusted herself, pulling down her skirt and buttoning her blouse. "How do you know?"
I kissed her forehead softly, arranging her hair. "Because I pay her very well. Now go home, I'll be there in a few hours. I just need to wrap up some things."
