Friday
WHEN JAKE AWOKE, he panicked at first. Where the heck am I, he thought. Then the memory of the past few days came rushing back, followed by the recollection of the previous evening. That brought a smile to his face for a few minutes until he realized two things. One, he needed to use the bathroom, and two, he detected the smell of coffee and bacon in the air. He got out of bed, went to the bathroom, and took care of his morning routine. Josh had left a brand-new still-in-the-package toothbrush on the vanity, so Jake brushed his teeth, then shaved.
