Saturday
JOSH SPENT MOST of Saturday morning showing Jake everything there was to know about the garage and its contents.
“I can hardly believe it,” Jake said when they stopped for lunch. “You have everything from a lift to a small forge.”
“Randy wanted the shop equipped to deal with any contingency.”
“You certainly succeeded. You even have a tire changing machine.”
“Yep. The only thing we don’t have is an alignment machine, but George has one of those down at his garage.”
“Is it functional?”
“Oh, yeah. He and Randy spent hours retrofitting it to do away with any computerization.”
“You didn’t show me the loft.”
“We’ll go up there after lunch,” Josh said. “There’s not much to see up there, except stacks of new tires.”
