“I can’t explain it to you right now.” I said quickly. “Just tell me everything you can remember.”
“Draven,” she repeated, “did you come alone to rescue me?”
“Please Elena,” I grabbed her shoulders, “tell me. I can’t stay too long here, I have to go back.”
I continued scanning the entire place like I’d been doing from the moment I laid eyes on her even though I knew it was impossible for anyone to ever realize I was here.
