Elena POV
I woke up fully drenched in sweat and my heart racing a thousand miles per minute. Another nightmare. Since I got marked by Draven a week ago, I’d been having nightmares nonstop.
Draven had asked me to let him know if I felt anything strange after the marking but there was no way I could tell him this.
I turned over and stared at the ceiling. He had already been gracious enough to mark me and let me stay here despite not wanting a mate and my strange power.
I couldn’t possibly impose on him any more than I already had. That was why I swiftly made up an excuse when some council members brought up the issue of us using separate rooms.
Apparently they were concerned about the possibility of me being able to provide Draven with an heir if we continued to stay in separate rooms
